Children's Art Course (Turkish Speaking)
Full Season of Art Classes
September 5, 2026 – July 3, 2027
Ages 4–12
Ages 4–12
Art Without Borders is a playful, hands-on art programme for children aged 4–12, designed to introduce young artists to the world of art while nurturing their curiosity, confidence, and individual creative expression.
Our classes are led by experienced art educators with a pedagogical background, combining professional artistic knowledge with child-centred teaching. This approach allows each session to be adapted to the child’s age, experience, interests, learning pace, and creative goals.
Through a variety of drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, mixed media, and experimental techniques, children discover artists from different countries and cultures, learn about their stories and creative approaches, and explore how artists use colour, form, texture, light, shadow, and composition.
Learning Through Art
Each class begins with an artist, artwork, cultural tradition, artistic idea, or creative technique that becomes a starting point for exploration. Children are encouraged to ask questions, observe, experiment, and develop their own responses.
Rather than simply copying an artist’s work, children learn how artists think, experiment, and make creative choices. They use these ideas as inspiration to create artworks that reflect their own imagination, personality, and interests.
Educators guide children through the entire creative process—from developing an initial idea and making sketches to experimenting with materials and completing a finished artwork. Along the way, children receive personalised guidance and feedback while learning to make independent artistic decisions.
Personalised & Child-Centred
Every child approaches art differently. Our pedagogical approach recognises these differences and creates space for children to learn at their own pace and develop their own artistic interests.
Children can explore subjects and techniques that spark their curiosity, experiment with different materials, and even bring their own photographs, sketches, ideas, or creative projects to develop during class.
The goal is not perfection, but exploration, discovery, and growth.
Through the creative process, children develop artistic and transferable skills such as observation, concentration, problem-solving, patience, and independent thinking. Most importantly, they build confidence in expressing their ideas and discover that there can be many different ways to approach a creative challenge.
Discovering Art & Culture
Art becomes a way for children to discover the world around them. Throughout the programme, they encounter artists and artistic traditions from different cultures and time periods, creating opportunities to explore new perspectives and ways of seeing.
Lessons may be inspired by both classical and contemporary artists, nature, everyday life, world cultures, and the environment around us. Museum visits and cultural experiences can further connect classroom learning with the wider world of art.
A Supportive Creative Environment
Whether a child is completely new to art or already enjoys drawing and painting, the classes provide a welcoming environment where they can experiment freely, make mistakes, try again, and develop their confidence.
With small groups, individual attention, and guidance from educators with both artistic and pedagogical expertise, children are supported not only in learning art techniques, but also in discovering their own creative voice.
The aim is simple: to help every child discover the joy of making art, develop meaningful artistic skills, and grow into a confident and curious young creator.
