Give your child a fun and personalised introduction to the world of art with a one-off Art Without Borders session. Designed for children aged 4–12, this private class combines storytelling, artist discovery, hands-on creativity, and step-by-step guidance.

Each session introduces a different artist, culture, or artistic approach, giving children the opportunity to discover new ideas and experiment with different ways of creating.

What Children Will Explore

• Discover an artist from around the world
• Learn about the artist’s life, ideas, and creative approach
• Explore different art materials and techniques
• Learn the basics of colour theory and colour mixing
• Explore light, shadow, colour, form, and composition
• Follow a step-by-step drawing or painting process
• Develop an artwork from an initial idea or sketch through to a finished project
• Receive personalised guidance and feedback from the teacher

• Express their own ideas and imagination through art

From Idea to Finished Artwork

The session follows a guided creative process, beginning with an introduction to the featured artist and their work. The child then develops their own project inspired by the artist, moving step by step from the initial idea and sketch to the final artwork.

The focus is not on copying an existing artwork. Instead, children are encouraged to interpret what they learn in their own way, make creative choices, and create something unique.

Personalised Experience

As a private one-off class, the session can be adapted to the child’s age, experience, interests, and preferred artistic medium. Children can also bring their own ideas, photographs, or sketches to incorporate into the project.

In-Person or Online

Choose the format that works best for you:

• In-person: A hands-on creative session at the studio with access to a range of art materials.

• Online: A live private session from home with step-by-step guidance from the teacher. A materials list will be provided in advance based on the selected project.
