Children's 1-Class Pass (in-group)

Ages 4–12 or 12–18 | One-Off In-Group Class | In-Person & Online

Give your child or teenager a fun and creative introduction to the world of art with a one-off Art Without Borders session. Designed for young artists aged 4–12 or 12–18, these group classes combine storytelling, artist discovery, hands-on creativity, and step-by-step guidance.

Each session introduces a different artist, culture, artistic idea, or creative approach, giving students the opportunity to discover new ideas and experiment with different ways of creating.

What Young Artists Will Explore

  • Discover an artist from around the world
  • Learn about the artist’s life, ideas, and creative approach
  • Explore different art materials and techniques
  • Learn the basics of colour theory and colour mixing
  • Explore light, shadow, colour, form, and composition
  • Follow a step-by-step drawing or painting process
  • Develop an artwork from an initial idea or sketch through to a finished project
  • Receive guidance and feedback from the teacher throughout the creative process
  • Experiment with different techniques and materials
  • Express their own ideas and imagination through art
  • Share ideas and creative experiences with other young artists

From Idea to Finished Artwork

The session follows a guided creative process, beginning with an introduction to the featured artist and their work. Students then develop their own projects inspired by the artist, moving step by step from the initial idea and sketch to the final artwork.

The focus is not on copying an existing artwork. Instead, students are encouraged to interpret what they learn in their own way, make creative choices, experiment, and create something unique.

A Creative Group Experience

Students take part in a small-group setting where they can learn alongside other young artists, exchange ideas, observe different approaches, and be inspired by one another.

The teacher guides the group throughout the session while also providing individual support and feedback. Activities can be adapted to suit the age and experience level of the group, ensuring that both younger and older students can engage with the project in an appropriate and meaningful way.

In-Person or Online

Choose the format that works best for you:

  • In-person: A hands-on creative session at the studio, with access to a range of art materials and the opportunity to create alongside other students.
  • Online: A live interactive session from home, where students follow the teacher’s demonstrations, work through the project step by step, and receive guidance throughout the class. A materials list will be provided in advance based on the selected project.

This one-off class is perfect for young artists who would like to try something new, explore their creativity, discover the world of art, or experience an Art Without Borders session without committing to a longer course.
